Seaweed Love and Mushroom Lust

Come out for a talk and tasting by author and chef Maria Finn about regenerative foods like seaweed and mushrooms and what they can teach us about creating new systems that benefit all life on earth. They are also deeply delicious and have the capacity to heal what ails us. There will be seaweed and mushroom bites and tastings of Luv Shrubs with medicinal mushrooms and seaweed for suggested donations.

Maria Finn is a chef, author, and multi-sensory storyteller who lives on a houseboat with her two cats, her truffle dog, and a native oyster garden. She founded Flora & Fungi Adventures to connect people to the natural world through food and wildcrafting and offers wild food camps in California, the San Juan Islands and Hesketh Island off Homer, Alaska. Her cookbook on wild foods, “Forage, Gather, Feast” is forthcoming in spring 2024 on Sasquatch books. Her author website is www.mariafinn.com.
