What We're Looking For
Calling for works of art featuring feline friends -- from house cats to panthers! This is also our holiday show, so entries must be priced at $300 or under, and artists must be of residence in California.

Deadlines

• The deadline for submissions is October 17th, 2025

• Result notifications will be sent out by October 20th, 2025

• Accepted artwork needs to be delivered to Helvella by November 1, 2025

Eligibility

• This call is open to painters (traditional, digital), illustrators, ceramicists, sculptors, and other static media artists. (Unfortunately, we are not accepting photography at this time.)

• Work completed within 2 years of entry preferred.

• ​Artists must be 18 years of age or older, residing in California, USA.

• All works must be for sale at $300 or under.​

• Maximum art size if shipping: 16"x20"​

• Artwork needs to be ready-to-hang with hanging hardware (wire / sawtooth / keyhole / etc)​

• Commission is 60% to artists, 40% to Helvella.​

• Artists are responsible for shipping and return.

Please feel free to submit multiple pieces that fit the open call theme.

If  8"x10" or smaller: up to 5 pieces

If larger than 8"x10": up to 3 pieces
